NOTICE TO OUR VALUED EXPORTS CLIENTS Payload Capacity & Gross Weight Recording
Shipping Lines reiterate the importance of loading containers to payload capacity. Convention for Safe Containers (CSC Plate) displays the payload for the container. Commodity packed in the container should not exceed the payload or safe working load of a container. Containers that are found to be over payload risk being withdrawn for re-packing or pay any additional costs if the container is loaded and a discrepancy recorded.
